LampyLed by Inzynieria Designu – beauty and function
Design is a great space for combinations. Combination of art and functionality. Combination of tradition and new solutions. Combination of different fascinations, approaches and skills. And sometimes, combination of personalities.
Viol from Inzynieria Designu loves ceramics and graphic arts. Pawel is keen on electricity. In this relationship designing a lamp with a hand made engraving was just a metter of time.
First LedLamps (in Polish LampyLed) saw the light of day in 2009 as a part of the contest „Souvenir from Poland”. Their concept basis on the combination of traditional decoration and modern technology. The lamps are engraved by hand and decorated with motifs inspired by Polish folk. They are made of high quality plastic attached with LED diodes.
Depending on the number of diodes and the size, they can perform different roles in the room.
- Small lamps (with max 2 diodes and a diameter up to 20 cm) can be used as a night lamps in a nursery/kid's room or gently light up the corridors at night. They can be easily removed due to baterry power.
- Bigger lamps (with at least 4 diodes and a diameter over 20 cm) are battery powered as well and provide enough light to be used while reading.
- Big lamps (with at least 8 diodes and a diameter over 40 cm) powered with 230V are attached with a cable of at least 2 m length. They have best functional qualities of LedLamps.
Apart from these values, LedLamps are above all beautiful and original decorations of walls and windows. They provide not only an eye-catching spot on the wall, but also refresh the room with the melange light they spread on the surrounding walls and floor.
They are produced for individual orders and offered in few different designes (including decoration on the plastic tile, cable and decorative box for batteries).
